... nappies, liners and 3 covers at £75. One big problem is that with only 5 nappies you will forever be washing and don't really get a fair idea of how they work. If you are determined to go down the reusable route then you need to bite the bullet and buy the full set in one go - Onelife offer a hamper of 20 nappies, plus 12 covers in all the different sizes plus sanitizer and liners for £295, although you can find it substantially cheaper through Amazon. Another place to look is Ebay, where people who have spent out wh...more

Premium Review Onelife Nappies: ONE LIFE NAPPIES - NOT FOR WRIGGLE BUMS (508 words)
by - written on 23/07/09 (Very useful, 43 readings)
Rating:

I have always been dubious about using resuable nappies - the thought of all the extra washing and the smelly nappy buckets was enough to make me think that I would use disposables. However, when I became pregnant a friend convinced me that actually there wasn't that much extra work involved, made me feel guilty about the numbers of nappies going to land fill and given that the cost savings would certainly come in handy, I thought would give them a try. I researched a few options, but decided upon the Onelife brand, as I liked the idea that the nappies were used during the whole time your child needed nappies. This works by the nappies themselves having a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review not for us (284 words)

I was determined to use cloth with my first child and before looking into it myself I went along to the local "nappachino" which promised coffee and a look at the many kinds of nappies available. After a good demonstration and helpful chat with the advisor, and another talk with a friend who was there I was leaning towards this nappy. We bought the day pack (5 nappies) with the intention of buying more later. Along came our tall and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Onelife Nappies: Onelife Cloth Nappies - a true 'birth to potty' system (252 words)
by - written on 25/10/05 (Very useful, 1207 readings)
Rating:

Onelife is a one-size washable nappy which fits from birth (approximately 7lbs) until potty training (2+ years). The nappy fastens with poppers, because velcro fastenings on nappies have been known to wear out over time. The front folds down and the sides overlap for a smaller baby, and as the baby grows the extra booster pad (supplied with each nappy) can be snapped in to give extra absorbency. The nappy is made of soft cotton, with a percentage of polyester sandwiched in the weave to give it stretch, durability and softness. The nappy stays soft without tumble drying even in a hard water area thanks to the polyester and the short pile of the ...  Read the complete review
