Advantages: eco-friendly, easy to use, easy to wash, cheaper than disposables

Disadvantages: none

Onelife is a one-size washable nappy which fits from birth (approximately 7lbs) until potty training (2+ years).

The nappy fastens with poppers, because velcro fastenings on nappies have been known to wear out over time. The front folds down and the sides overlap for a smaller baby, and as the baby grows the extra booster pad (supplied with each nappy) can be snapped in to give extra absorbency.

The nappy is made of soft cotton, with a percentage of polyester sandwiched in the weave to give it stretch, durability and softness. The nappy stays soft without tumble drying even in a hard water area thanks to the polyester and the short pile of the fabric.

The nappy, when combined with a Onelife waterproof poppered wrap, is very effective at stopping leaks and is absorbent enough to use overnight.

The nappies cost £9.99 each from Onelife or from some nursery shops, but multiple packs and hampers bring the price down, so a complete nappy set (consisting of 20 nappies and 12 poppered wraps) costs less than £300. This is remarkably good value, considering that disposable nappies will cost an average of £1000 per child.

Because Onelife is a birth-to-potty nappy, it can be used on subsequent children, and it's the ideal nappy for parents who have more than one child in nappies, as it will adjust to fit both children.

Onelife also has a customer care line staffed by people with real experience of using the nappies.

Summary: Great leak protection, fully adjustable sizing, eco-friendly nappy, stays soft in hard water.
