... my baby in a plastic basin which was much easier and less water got all over. however he feels comfortable in the bath now which is a shame as he is growing out of it. there isnt really an in between. i wouldnt reccommend people to buy them as they cost too much and are not very good. holds quite a lot of water but they are really difficult to fill. you have to make a good few trips with a bowl to fill them up. and its also difficult emptying the water out of them. the chairs which go in a regular bath i would say ar...more

The baby bath I am currently using is the Mamas and Papas, aqua two stage ergo bath, as this review isnt specifically for this bath it doesn't show a picture, not sure if it allows me to post links, but here is the link the bath so you can see what it looks like - http://www.mamasandpapas .co.uk/product-acqua-two-stage- ergo-bath-pearl-white/4538472/type-i/ The bath costs £20 and I feel it is the best £20 I have ever spent, I cannot sing the praises of this bath enough and would highly recommend it to everyone with a small baby. The bath I have is cream in colour and it measures 93cm long, 54cm wide and 26cm high, therefore I just big enough to fit into our ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review John Lewis Reclining Bath Chair (578 words)

I bought this bath chair on recommendation from a friend, and started to use it regularly when Leah was about 6 weeks old. I tried her in it earlier as it is supposed to be suitable for newborns, but she screamed. Some babies might enjoy using it from birth, but Leah certainly wasn't ready for it. I had a normal baby bath to use as well, but found having to fill it up and empty it hard, heavy work, and preferred to bath her in the sink. The alternative - the big bath - is a bit scary when you are that small and like to be held tightly! This chair fits inside your own bath, and baby fits into the moulded shape in a semi-reclined position. They can't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Baby Baths: Showers (256 words)

If like us you don't have a bath you maybe wondering how to bath your baby. My first baby was 11lb 6oz and born by C Section so there was no question of my standing in the shower holding him. I had no way of moving around baby baths full of water. I bought one of the metal bath stands for £12.99 from Index and set it up over the toilet next to the shower. Use the shower head to fill the bath and position the plug hole over the loo so you just pull the plug and it drains out. Our shower room is tiny so this was the only way it would fit but it worked really well. Once he was to big for the bath (didn't take long). I racked my brains as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Toys R' Us baby bath (89 words)

£10, £15 sometimes even £20 why pay above the odds when its very unlikely you'll get your moneys worth out of a baby bath. The best bath I found was from Toys R' Us and it cost only £6, so if you're a new mother/father like me and you desperately want a baby bath try this one. It is very good quality and is very cheap. BUT don't be surprised if you use it more as a washing basket than you do a baby bath!! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Baby Baths: Bathing baby! (291 words)

I was lent a baby bath by a friend, when my daughter was born, I probably use this bath about 3 times! This was due to the fact that I had difficulty in lifting the bath, either to fill it or to empty it, it took ages using a saucepan! Baby baths are extemely heavy even if you've put a minimal amount of water in them! I had problems lifting things due to the fact that I'd had a cesarian section. Also being fairly tall bending over a bath on the floor didnt do much for my back! I'd thought about buying a changing station with built in bath whilest I was pregnant, thinking this would be an ideal way to bath baby but again my height (I'm ...  Read the complete review
