Bath support sponge - ideal for nervous first time parents (Other Baby Baths)
Member Name: ADS
Advantages: stops baby slipping, cheap Disadvantages: none
When my daughter was newborn I hated bathing her, finding it so hard to keep a grip on her whilst also trying to clean her. She had very dry skin so Oilatum bath oil was prescribed making her and the bath really slippy. I discovered bath support sponges whilst on one of my many trips to Mothercare, and decided to buy one. It is a large sponge which you put in the bottom of the baby bath, stopping your baby from slipping around. It made it a lot easier as I could let go whilst I washed her. It also gave my husband a break from bathing her, as I had given him that job after my first couple of attempts. I have also used one for my second daughter, moving on to a bath seat when she went into the big bath. Summary: |
