If you're anything like me when you think of nappies the first brand that comes to mind is Pampers. Having had the monopoly of the market for as long as I can remember you would really expect them to be the greatest thing sliced bread in terms of infant sanitation, however, in my experience this is not the case. I have been using these on my 6 month old son and while I commend them for ease of use we have experienced numerous times disasterous cases of nappy leakage! Once or twice I could accept - these things happen in mass production but lately it has been a repeated occurence. Previous to the current crop of disasters I complained about the faulty product to be met with the response that it is a familiar problem with those who are ready to move up a size, however my son at 22lbs is well inside the recommended 18-40lbs bracket. I haven't had the same problems with their active fit range but to be fair he's not really active yet and this seems a lot pay for the basic function of a nappy.
