Pampers easy up - great for the right shaped baby! (Pampers Easy-up Pants)

I decided to buy the pampers easy up pants as my son would not lie down long enough to put a 'normal' nappy on! It would involve running around chasing him then trying to pin him down long enough to fit the nappy!

So I saw the easy up pants and thought I would give them a try. To begin with they have a nice feel to them and little pictures, they look comfortable to wear.

To take the nappy off, you tear down the two side seams of the nappy, fairly easy. There is a neat sticky tab on the back of the nappy so whn you have taken it off you can roll the nappy up and use the sticky tab to stick the nappy together.

I bought the economy size pack at £8.98 from boots for 38 nappies.

The important thing to me was that first of all they were easier to put on. Top marks for this as I could just pull them on as he stood up, no chasing around thank god for that!

Secondly they had to keep him dry, this is where things went down hill. During the day he could wear these easy up pants with no leakages and no problems. However at night times it is hit or miss, most nights I have been woken in by a wet grumpy baby! This has really started to annoy me now as it seems that it is certain batches that seem to leak and others that dont. I am now stuck with an economy size pack of these Easy up pants, I will just have to use them during the day. I am going to be complaining to Pampers as I bought the brand hoping for a quality nappy.

I do understand many people have used them without a problem maybe its the shape of my baby's bum!

I have been using boots own brand of pull up nappies which dont look as nice but have had no leakages so far.

I think the price of the Pampers brand is not too bad for the quantity of easy up pants, but my experiance has put me off buying them again.

Summary: Left me with a grumpy wet baby!
