These nappies were good for us even thought they were expensive. To be honest we were just happy to be able to buy something for her. There is however no point in me recommending these nappies as if you do have a premature baby you will have to buy them, there's no alternative. Which really still annoys me. My daughter was born 13 weeks early weighing 2lb 8oz so she was very tiny. The first hospital she was in provided nappies for us to use. They were the pampers micro so my daughter has worn these since she was first born. These nappies state that they are from 2lb to 5lb. When my daughter first started wearing them they came up way past her nipples. Although they were big they did the job and we never had any leaks or poo explosions while she was wearing them. When my daughter was born she only weighed 5oz 11lbs so was on the tiny side. Because she went straight in to SCBU (special care unit) for just under 2 days they immediately put her into Pampers Micro nappies as she was so little. As I had packed size 1 new baby nappies thinking that is all I would need I ordered my other half to go to Boots to buy quite a few packs as I knew she would need them in hospital and then at home for when we were discharged. Cambridge Addenbrookes had changed their policy on providing all nappies, cotton wool etc earlier on in the year so we gave a full pack back as even though we had only used a few nappies, we thought it was a nice thing to . In the last weeks of pregnancy with my children I was told to expect small babies due to my rhesus disease, I already knew from experience that normal stage one nappies (new baby) were going to be to big and in fact with my son they nearly reached his underarms, knowing this I went on the hunt for smaller nappies and at first it seemed that the only nappies for small babies were specialist ones for SCBU units. Then while in the Shrewsbury chain of Boots I came across these "micro" nappies which seemed just the right thing I needed.
