Advantages: disposable well known brand

Disadvantages: harsh on babies bottom..just an awful nappy

I first used pampers nappies 15 years ago when i had my daughter and was pleased with the package i paid for.Yes they were the more expensive brand at the time but you knew what you were getting when you purchased them.They were the "gold " of the nappy variety back then..Soft to the touch very absorbant easy for the baby to wear.
So i thought this time round when i had my son 5 months ago i thought i would go for the same product i trusted all those years ago.

In a nut shell i wish i hadn't bothered admittedly they haven't gone up to much in price over the years but i am appalled at how they have gone in terms of there reliability.
I bought about 5 packs of Pampers to get me by with my new arrival.
I was like a child in a sweety shop as i opened my new pack of nappies ( sad i know ) here i was anticipating the soft luxurious feeling of the nappy that was going to lie on my baby's smooth skin....Now while i back the lorry up and come back to reality heres what really happened i opened the pack took the nappy out and what did i find? ? ? what you might ask yourself...I found a nappy lol..No seriously i was surprised because they were not how i remembered them.They looked and felt different.
They leaked at every change...They also made my sons bottom sore..They felt rough to touch on the inner lining.The leak proof guard was not that good.

I used these for a good 3 weeks hoping they would get better i thought maybe i had bought a bad batch but sadly i hadnt..
i no longer use these nappies but i do use other pampers products..
im disappointed really because you kind of lose your faith in the brand when they dont work the way you want them to.

Summary: well known brand not working the way they should
