I started off using Pampers New Baby nappies when my daughter was born, mainly because these nappies were provided free in the Bounty new baby hospital bag.

Overall, I was really pleased with these nappies. They fitted well and stopped most leaks. The only, occasional, leaks I tended to experience with my baby were the overnight nappies.

The inside of the nappies are lovely and soft, absorbing moisture well. The sides are elasticated well to fit snugly.

I did decide to swap to 'Huggies' nappies, as my daughter was only 5lbs 14 oz and the huggies nappies seemed slightly smaller than the pampers. My choice to swap had nothing to do with the performance or quality of the pampers.

Although pampers nappies are not the cheapest brand, I would recommend them for an 'average' or larger sized newborn baby, as they were a good quality nappy for delicate newborn baby skin.

Summary: A good quality, but expensive nappy.
