Excellent for newborn - boots promotion 2nd feb+ as cheap as tesco nappies (Pampers New Baby Total Care Nappies)

Advantages: Highly absorbent and good value for money

Disadvantages: Expensive but buy when on deals

I used pampers nappies from birth to around 16mths with my eldest son and then switched to tesco nappies. I did return to using pampers nappies for my next 2 children for their size 1 (newborn) nappies as i found them to be the best newborn nappy available.

Although higher priced the new baby nappies are second to none. They have a special top layer and soak up the very loose stools of a breastfed baby. They are very well fitting for baby and the top band can be folded to sit neatly under the cord stump.

I had a few leaks while using pampers newborn nappies but always poo's and no where near as many as i had when i tried the tesco alternative brand. I also found them to be very absorbent and needed less frequent changes compared to other nappies i did try.

The pictures are very cute and these nappies are available in a rnage of sizes (great for my 10lb baby daughter who would really be in size 3 nappies had pampers not made their newborn nappies in size 1,2 and 3!) so although big she still needed the newborn nappies for their care and absorbency specially for poo.

overall very good value for money - ACTIVE FIT: currently (2nd feb) buy 2 large pack (48 nappies ish as 4 free as well) for £13.50 and if you have an advantage card you will earn points too which makes them almost as cheap as tesco own brand nappies :)

Summary: Very good value and i returned to them for newborn for all 3 of my children
