Advantages: Ultra dry
Disadvantages: More expensive then supermarket brands
Well we had our first child and we decided to go for a brand name, my brother used pampers for his children and after hearing good reviews from him we went for it.
My first thoughts are that the nappy feels very soft and comfortable, this is important as I have also used Supermarket brands and have found that they tend to be a bit rougher. On soft skin, I think the comfortableness for the little one is important and we have also not seen any nappy rashes develop on the baby.
In terms of fittings it is important that you follow the size guide on the pack, this is usually stated in terms of the babies weight. Now I believe sizing is important because we have experiences few leaks with this brand of nappy. However, I believe this was due to the nappy not fitting snugly around the baby's waist. Once he grew a little larger we did not experience any leakage of number 1s or 2s!
I know this may sound crazy but the nappies absorbed the urine so well and left the nappy ultra dry that we could not identify if the baby was passing urine or not, which made it difficult for us to confirm to the midwife that he is functioning well!
I think the pricing is competitive against other branded nappies, however it can be significantly more expensive then supermarket brands.
Summary: Does what it says.
