Advantages: Lightweight, absorbent, pretty design.

Disadvantages: The netting looks rough inside, expensive, not so good for bottle fed babies.

Pampers New Baby disposable nappies are designed with newborns in mind. They have been made specifically to cope with the particularly runny poo that occur with purely liquid diets.

The nappies are very light weight and very slim with a super soft outside cover perfect for a delicate newborn's skin and provides optimum comfort. I used these for my son whilst in the hospital aswell as the other leading brand. The Pampers were lighter weight and more absorbent than the other leading brand, but the netting on the inside of the nappies did leave a pattern on his skin for quite some time after removing them. I also would not recommend these for bottle-fed babies as the absorbency would not be as good.

The decorations on the band of the nappies made them a pleasure to look at. My son did not experience any sore skin or nappy rash with these nappies.

They are quite expensive compared to other makes however there is very often a deal that makes them affordable. The Boots Parenting Club very often sends £1.00 off vouchers in the post if you are a member and if you register at the Pampers website, they will give you one £2.00 off voucher and two £1.00 off vouchers.

These nappies are lovely to use and if I was made of money I would have bought them all the time as you cannot put a price on a comfortable bottom!

Summary: A sensible choice for the first few weeks of your baby's life.
