Advantages: No leakages and very comfy

Disadvantages: A little bit pricey

They pride themselves with the stretchy sides, and I believe this is what makes this nappy unbeatable. Huggies super flex claims to be 5 times more stretchificated than Pampers...but they must be referring to Pampers Babydry which are not designed to be stretchy! Pampers Active Fit are way stretchier than Huggies, hands down!

You can purchase these nappies in four sizes midi, maxi, maxi plus and junior. As you can see, Pampers Active fit do not come in mini, but then babies aren't exactly active for the first few weeks anyway are they. They begin at 9lb and range up to 55lb.

The nappies themselves have cute little designs on them, like elephants doing various activities. The panels of the nappy are purple, which makes them stand out and look far more attractive and colourful than any other nappy, in my opinion.

As I mentioned, we have tried shops own brands on many occasions, but they just do not seem to contain more than a ml of wee, or the runnier poos. (sorry!) But, hand on heart, in the 10 months of using Pampers Active Fit, we've never had any 'up the back' or out the side leakages you get with other nappies..and in my eyes that it pretty good going!

My daughter has always been slightly chunky, and Active Fit accomodate her fantastically. Simply stretch the tabs round as far as you'd like, and stick down. If you have done it too tight, or not tight enough, simply undo, and do again.

Now, I have a bum shuffler! And surely, if anything is going to prove that Pampers Active Fit aren't snug enough, then bum shuffling is it! But we have no problems whatsoever, they always remain exactly where I put them.

Another good little point, is when you've removed the nappy from your child, you can wrap it up really small before chucking it in the bin. Because of the stretchy sides, just fold up the nappy, and puuuuuullllll the stretchy tabs really far round and stick down, the nappy ends up just a small ball to chuck away. :o)

My daughter always wears her nappy for at least 12 hours over night, and still we haven't had a leakage of any kind. Fantastic! She has also never suffered from nappy rash, and never had an exploding nappy (where the beads end up all over them).

These nappies are usually on offer in places like Tesco or Boots. You can get 2 packs of 44-46 nappies for £16. They are more expensive than most othe brands, but it's either pay that little bit extra, or end up clearing up leakages all day and night. I know what I would rather. I believe they are worth every penny.

The material is cotton like, so there's no rubbing or chaffing of babies skin.

I have given this item 4 stars...it would have easily got 5 if the price was a tad lower.

Kind regards.

Summary: Everything you want and need from a nappy. No leakages and very soft & comfortable.

In my expereince these were one of the best nappies around, on par with Pampers Pull-Ups and far ahead of anything else.

We preferred Huggies and found them more absorbent more than anything else.

Good review! I'm a Huggies Super-flex user myself... and they are pretty stretchy (get round Oliver's fat tummy anyway - LOL!) Kat x
