Advantages: the stretch means when you pull the tabs don't pull off, very absorbant, easier to get on to baby

Disadvantages: the sometimes smell, difficult to dispose of

I am so excited........There at last is a nappy that does mean I have to use more than one nappy per nappy change.
I have just discovered the pampers active nappy range and I have to say they are wonderful.

Now I hear what you are thinking, how can this person get so excited about nappies.
Well let me give you an illustration of nappy change time.

I get a whift that my precious little angel has left me a pressie in her nappy so off I go to collect a nappy, wipes and creams.
Then it is a case of picking up my 10 month old little angel who as soon as I pick her up decides it is play time. We have a giggle and a bit of a shake of the head then a few kicks of the legs, giggling all the way. Then I lie the little angel down and remove the offending nappy.

This is not to bad, wrestle with the wet wipes for a minute then place all of the smelly items into the nappy bin.
Now this is where the fun really begins. I get My little angel to lie on the nappy, then she rolls on to her side, I pull the nappy and it comes to far over I lie her flat on her back again and she rols the other way. I pull the nappy again and I hear a rip. I am left with a child rolling arond the floor with the nappy about a few feet from where she is and the sticky tab in my hand.

So off I trot for another nappy by this time little angel is in full swing of play and if I am really lucky she has left a puddle some where for me to clean up later.
We have a struggle now as little angel has decidied she loves the air on her bottom and it is so boring to have a nappy on.

Then the fun really begins I get little angel (who is starting to appear more like a little devil at this point)into a bear hug and carry her to her nice clean nappy that is waiting for her. We have a struggle that a WWF wrestler would be proud of. Finally I get a bottom roughly in the same place as the nappy we have a few rolls over then hey presto the nappy is fastne
d one side (only slighlty lob sided) Now for the other sidea few more rolls and we have done it.

One nappy all done and well it is not to lob sided. Just hope it does not get filled to much or it will be all over the place.
Now to my new discovery, active fit nappies are made with extra stretcy fit sides where the stcky tabs r so if little angel does roll around the sides strech with her instead of coming off in my hand.

Now You may wonder why this is so important to anyone.

Well if we have 6 changes a day each lasting at least 10 minutes after all the rolling around, getting another nappy and then clearing up any little accidents that is 1 hr a day, 7 hours a week and 364 hours a yr.
If I was working for these wasted hours I would have earned £4,368 pounds.

Then there is the cost of all the wasted nappies this is about 1 a day resulting in 7 a week or 364 a yr. This is equal to 14 bags of wasted nappies a yr at a cost of £98.
Not a great deal I know but I know what I would rather do with the £98 times the 2 or 3 years I will be using nappies for.

So I am so grateful that at last pampers have realsied changing a babies nappy is no child's play.
