Introduction

As a baby my son was allergic to practically everything. This culminated in him coming out in a rash all over his body as a result of using perfumed products. I had a bit of a nightmare when it came to finding baby wipes which would not irritate his skin. I tried several products available on the market to no avail. However after a lot of searching I was recommended Pampers sensitive baby wipes. I tried them and never looked back.

Product

These wipes have been developed for babies with very sensitive skin. Containing Chamomile and pure water they soothe and cleanse babys delicate skin. They have been dermatologically tested and are perfume and alcohol free. They also contain a touch of milk essentials. (I appologise not overly sure what this means). They are described as being as gentle as cotton wool and water. They come in a variety of pack sizes, single or multi-pack. There is also a handy plastic box available to buy with selected packs which keeps the product fresh and easier to dispense. Look out for special deals in your local supermarket as I have seen them being sold quite cheaply.

Ingredients

Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Trilaureth-4 Phosphate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Phosphate, Xanthan Gum, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Bis-PEG/PPG-16/16 PEG/PPG-16/16 Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aloe Barbadensis Gel, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Bisabol, Chamomilla Recutita Extract. (Good luck if you know what any of these are for).

Advantages

Very sensitive have seen no evidence of rashes or any other adverse reactions. They are also not too wet like some other rival products. Work effectively so you don't have to use lots at every nappy change as you would have to do with cheaper brands. Pleasant clean smell but certainly not over-powering. Has the added advantage of being versatile and hence can be used for removing make-up. Lets face it they are half the price of adult beauty wipes. An added bonus for all environmentally friendly households is that the plastic packaging is fully recyclable. Handy for all the family when needing a quick refresh when travelling.

Disadvantages

Its actually quite hard to criticise this product. Single packs contain 63 wipes which can work out quite expensive. We all know that there are several nappy changes to do in the course of a day. However they supply multi-packs which will help to keep some of the costs down. Grab a deal when they are on special offer at your local retailer. It is important to buy the plastic tub available because if you forget to put the tape over the top of the pack they will dry out quickly. They are not quite as thick as some of the rival products on the market however the other advantages help to over-look this slight flaw.

Overall Rating

I would rate this product 4/5 stars. They are certainly one of the best wipes on the market, providing sensitive care for your little ones. Also recommended for use by mums and dads!!
