Advantages: Strong wipe, unperfumed
Disadvantages: Bit expensive
I sometimes use these wipes when I see them on a special offer. Just recently Tesco, Superdrug and Morrisons had them on buy one get one free at £1.95. They are usually available on offer which can reduce the price somewhat.
I am a big fan of the pampers brand as I find their products to be of a higher quality than some other brands, but do not think these wipes are the greatest product in the pampers range.
They are quite strong and get baby clean pretty quickly as they withstand being folded a few times for a few wipes. The material that is used is not like a tissu but more of a soft cloth, which is quite resilient to wiping.
They don't really smell of anything, just a clean smell. This is a comforting fact, because I can tell that they do not have any unnecesary perfume or additives and they are not going to have extra chemichals that could be bad for sensitive skin.
They have Aloe and Chamomile added which does help their bottoms but they definately don't help sore bottom as they seem to sting and make it redder. This could just be sn individual reaction, but I tend to use cotton wool and water when they're sore.
They are perfume free and alcohol free and don't contain Parabens which is good in my opinion. The reason that I choose the perfume and paraben free pampers wipes is that parabens have been banned in some countries for health reasons and a lot of cosmetic and wipe manufacturers now understand that not a lot of people want these in their products.
Not bad when they're on offer but I wouldn't (usually) pay nearly £2 a pack.
Summary: The gentle option
