Advantages: Moist, thick, sensitive, nice fragrance
Disadvantages: Not bio - degradable, can be pricey
I have been using these wipes since the day that my son was born, and they are most definitely the best wipes I have found on the market. Therefore I have decided to share my opinion with you, I hope my review will be helpful!
*Product and Packaging*
The wipes comes in a plastic wrapper which has recently been redesigned and looks modern. It is white with green borders, with the name Pampers at the top, and the word sensitive across the middle. It also has a symbol declaring that the wipes contain Chamomile and Aloe. Also the wipes are made of 95% pure water, making them ultra soft and sensitive to your baby's skin. Unfortunately neither the wrapper or the wipes are bio-degradable, so they aren't that great to the environment.
I have found that these wipes retail in most stores for around 2.49 pounds for a packet of 64 wipes. However, these are frequently on Buy-One-Get-One-Free in most shops so they are bit better value for money. You can also buy them in packs of 2 and 4, making better value for money.
*The Wipes*
The wipes are lovely and soft, and moist, but not too much so. They have a nice floral imprint on the wipes, something you don't really notice until you look thoroughly! They have a nice fragrance which is bery fresh smelling, but not over-powering. I always find as I get to the bottom of the packet, the wipes get much soggier and I sometimes have to squeeze them to get rid of some of the excess water.
However, I do find that the wipes are sufficiently moist enough to remove most things from my son, and are nice and absorbent, so they don't smear poo everywhere, which is a good thing for me, I don't want more mess than necessary! My son has never had a rash from these wipes, even when I have used them on his face and hands after he has eaten.
The wipes are in a concertina pattern in the packet and are very easy to dispense just using one hand, I haven't really had a problem with pulling on ewipe and a clump coming out! This can't be said for cheaper wipes I have bought though, so for me this gives them a good advantage.
You can also purchase a box to store your wipes in, I have seen the price of this vary from arounf 2.49 pounds to 3.79 pounds, you do usually get a pack of wipes inside when you buy it too. I however got mine from my Bounty pack in hospital when my son was born, so it was a very handy freebie!
I would definitely recommend these wipes to mums for both newborns and older children, they are usually both for botty wiping and face wiping after a messy meal! They are quite good value for money, but as I said before, not that environmentally friendly, which is a shame. But overall, a very satisfactory wipe that really is senstive to babies delicate skin.
Summary: Great wipes for those babies with sensitive skin
