Will be glad when the packet's finished!

Advantages: Good strong wipe
Disadvantages: Poor packet seal and expensive
When I was pregnant I stocked up on baby wipes and have continued to buy them when I see them on offer as I use a pack or 2 a week on my twins. Despite using Pampers nappies I had never tried their wipes until this week when I found a pack in the bottom of my storage box.
The green packet has a photo of a baby on it as well as the familiar Pampers name and logo. It is made of a tough plastic and so wont easily tear. On the top of the pack is a sticker which allows you to reseal the packet between uses to prevent the wipes drying out. I have only been using the wipes a few days and already it isn't sticking back down properly. A wipe got stuck to it and the lotion has come off partly stopping it sticking but it has also gone out of shape and wont lay flat to the packet. Personally I prefer wipes with a plastic clip shut lid as they are much easier to use.
These wipes are in a packet of 72 but since I bought them the pack size has reduced to 64 which it says on the front of the packet. I prefer packs having more wipes but all the big brands seem to have gone down the size reduction rather than price increase route.
These wipes are fragranced, I don't like the smell of fragranced wipes and they all seem to smell the same. I now make sure that any wipes are buy are the fragrance free version.
The wipes hold their shape really well not stretching or sticking to each other when you pull them from the pack. Being able to get them out one handed is a big advantage when you are holding baby's legs in the other. They are a thick wipe which does a really good job when cleaning up baby.
The wipes are dermatologically approved, neither of my little ones have particularly sensitive skin to be able to comment on this beyond the fact that they haven't had any reaction to them.
I find myself using wipes for lots of other cleaning up jobs. They are great for cleaning up little ones faces and hands and wiping over their toys. I'm often seen cleaning marks off the sofa with them too, they do a great job!
Price and availability
These wipes are widely available from supermarkets and chemists and are often on promotion. They are currently on offer at Tesco for £1.23 rather than the full price of £2.47. I still feel this is over priced and the wipes are no better than Tesco own brand wipes which are a lot cheaper.
Would I recommend?
No, these wipes are good but the packet seal needs improving. They are not worth the extra cost.
Summary: Decent quality wipes but overpriced in a rubbish packet
