Advantages: brand name

Disadvantages: thin and leaky

I've just had my first baby and in the space of just 4 days have discovered that Pampers are not as good as I thought they were. I found that they did not fit very snuggly around the top of my baby's legs and, of course, this meant that every time he filled his nappy it leaked out onto his clothes. This was very annoying, especially as I had a C-Section which meant that I had to call a midwife to help me to change him at almost every nappy change. Another thing that I don't like about Pampers is that they seem far too thin, not that I want my baby to be all nappy but I expected them to be a little thicker for plenty of protection for my baby's bottom.

As a result my husband and I decided to try one of our many free huggies nappies and were much happier with them straight away. Unlike Pampers they were not thin and leaky.

Congratulations on the birth of your son! I also found that the newborn nappies weren't much cope, but they do get better in the bigger sizes, honest :-)
