Advantages: keeps baby dry for hours at night, comfy fit, reliable

Disadvantages: expensive, but not much more if you get the jumbo packs

I tried several different types of nappies when i had my first child, as i wanted to make sure i did things 'properly'. i thought it would be a big contender between huggies and pampers, but in my opinion pampers wins hands down.

the dreaded time i had to get through the pack of huggies was a nightmare. i don't know if its because my daughter was a heavy baby but i found that the huggies nappies always leaked. i wasnt keen on the velcro straps instead of the stick on ones, and wasted several nappies from accidentally pulling the velcro bit open too hard and it ripped off. i never had this problem with pampers.

i find that the entire range has been brilliant-they're the most expensive for a reason, they dont leak as often. they fit really snugly and my daughter goes the whole night without any problems in them. they have a nice stretchy elastic that fits round the babys legs and the sticker bit is on a really stretchy panel, so comfy for the child.

i am having a little trouble with my youngest with the newborn nappies leaking a little, as he was early, so his legs are really skinny. i think this is something that i'd have with any nappy, so will continue using pampers.

they are thin nappies, not really bulky like some cheaper brands are. i buy the large packs for £9.00, as it works out that the nappies are not much more expensive per nappy than the cheaper brands.

Summary: definately the best, less leaks and drier bums makes my life a little easier!
