Advantages: Best for my babies skin

Disadvantages: Expensive compared to other brands

I love pampers and have used them for both of my children. When I had my first child 6 years ago I bought these but I also bought huggies nappies and I preferred these much more. The feel of them felt as if they would hold a lot more in and I had awful trouble with the huggies nappies giving my daughter nappy rash.

The second time round which was just over a year ago I bought huggies nappies to see if they had got any better over the years, pampers nappies because I trusted them, Tesco nappies because they were cheaper and asda nappies because they were on offer at the time! When my daughter was born she had really sensitive skin and all of them brought her up in extremely bad nappy rash apart from the pampers again.

Must be something to do with my children but the pampers agree with them the most. But if I was ever to have any more children I would go through it all again and test every type of nappy as there are much cheaper alternatives out there and they are in nappies for a long time.

Price wise this is how it all compares

Tesco Baby Essentials 34 pack size 4 £3.97
Huggies Super Dry 34 pack size 4 £5.98
Pampers 34 pack size 4 £5.96

All these prices are from my local Tesco store so may be slightly different elsewhere.

I know this is the most expensive way to buy nappies but it is just showing the large difference in price. As you can see the Tesco ones are far cheaper but then no good if your babies skin just won't tolerate them.

So Pampers have to win!

Summary: These are great nappies which will suit some but not others

My daughter was a Pampers baby - I agree with you that they really are the best disposable nappy out there.
