A good fit for a growing baby (Pampers)
Member Name: ecs0508
Advantages: better at containment, long lasting and good absorbency Disadvantages: none We first started out with Huggies, but soon switched as we found on our daughter that Pampers contained poo much better. She was a tiny thing and in the new baby ones for around 3 months. I found these good for containment, apart from the occasional explosion, and she didn't suffer from nappy rash in them. When we moved on to Baby Dry we also started using cloth nappies in the day so were only using the Pampers at night. They were good at going for 12-14 hours and again, we didn't have any problems with nappy rash. I felt the fit was a bit loose around her bum, but we didn't have leak issues. We swapped to Active Fit when she started moving around more at 5 months as she started rolling all over the place at night. They were as good as the Baby Dry, in fact we prefer them and still use them now in the night at 18months. She can easily drink 9oz milk at bedtime and go through the night (12-14hrs) without a problem. We still use cloth in the daytime, so haven't made the move to pull-ups yet. We have tried a sample that we were sent, and the jury is still out as they were a bit narrow on her bum cheeks which worried me as she's skinny anyway! Time will tell... Summary: the brand that we will always choose in the shop |
