Disadvantages: expensive, hurt my sons bottom

I am usually a cloth nappy user. I am going back to work in 4 weeks, so I decided to put disposables on my little lad. Because I have used and liked pampers in the past,I went out and bought a packet.
Within a day, my son's bottom was a mass of open sores, it actually looks like burns. I change his nappy every 2 hours, so it is not my fault.
I am now using another brand and his bottom is healing.
I will not use that brand again.
