Advantages: nothing

Disadvantages: leaked big time

I got a pack of Pampers Baby Dry Junior size for my little boy as they had sold out of my usual brand. I thought I would give them a try. I put him in one that night to try them out and boy was it a big mistake. I had about two hours sleep when he woke up screaming, He was wet through and so was his cot. This happened twice more during the night and at first I put it down to him having a drink of juice before going to bed but the third time round it was getting abit ridiculous. They fitted him snugly but I was not too keen on the plasticy feel to the outside but i was willing to give them a go. With the christmas period the shops ere shut for a couple of days so we could not go and find him another pack of nappies so the poor little thing had to go around with these on and me well I was constantly changing him even if he was slightly wet. Roughly every hour. He developed terrible nappy rash which we had never had with the other brand of nappies we use. I have since purchased another different type of pampers which were alot better but I was disgusted at the first pack we brought. Not just because I lost sleep and my washing machine was on constantly but mainly because I had to put his bum in these. Totally unimpressed with the whole pack design which the handle ripped when i was carrying them out of the supermarket and the distress they caused my baby. I would have expected this from a "cheaper unknown brand" not a household name.
Sorry but they could do alot better.

I have come to the conclusion that Pampers are best for girls and huggies for boys. I dont know why but I guess they must be padded better in different places!

It's strange how different children have different experiences with nappies. I have used Pampers since my child was born, and haven't had these problems during the day-although I do use different night-time nappies. You should contact pampers and let them know about your problems. I brought a pack where all the tabs ripped off as I tried to open them. I wrote to pampers telling them, and got my money back. It might be worth a try!
