Not too hot for sensitive bums! (Pampers)

When my son was born, December 1998, I already had my mind set on him having the best nappies there were. Any parent will understand that when it comes down to something that’s going to be in contact with your baby then you want the best.

I presumed Pampers were the best, I had seen their advertisements and a few family members had used Pampers nappies with their children and rated them quite highly. So that, to me, was the obvious route to take. (Big Mistake)

Whilst still in hospital with my son he got a very bad nappy rash, I mean you are talking two days after he was born he got this rash, I was fuming when I was told that is was the nappies that had caused it and was given some cream from the Doctor.

Needless to say it was a very long time before I used Pampers again. This time he was roughly 11 – 12 months old when I tried the Pampers Playtimes. The reaction to these was not as bad as the original Pampers but bad enough for me to write a strong worded letter of complaint to Pampers. They to be fair were helpful as best they could by asking for more information i.e, where the rash was most predominant etc.

They also sent me vouchers to re-reimburse me for what I had paid, which was pretty decent of them. I used the vouchers on the Pampers baby wipes as although my son doesn’t get on with Pampers nappies I can only use their wipes!

The nappies dont seem very generous unlike Huggies, which we have had no problems with.
