Disadvantages: Ripped off (in all ways) easily
I used Playtimes as a step up from the larger Huggies sizes (thinking that Pampers had solved my problems). Although Playtimes have a different strapping angle for securing the nappy, my 2 year old will not fit in them and my 14 month old, barely fits them. Following various promotions (eg. buy 1 get 1 free), I'm bursting with these things and feel as though I'm forcing my youngest to wear them. The principle is fab.. the reality is awful. They just don't fit "normal" kids of a certain size, and my two kiddies are not, in anyway, large. Once they'd sussed it out, the "easy to remove" tabs on the front of these nappies... were removed ! I then had two kiddies, runnig around the house with absolutely nothing on (they've both reached that... get nakey stage). I truely believe it's just another marketing angle to get us, frustrated Mums, to buy another new product. If Pampers would like to directly source my opinions, I'd love to hear from them. Email.. via dooyoo... Medusa (I'm sure dooyoo would email me and ask me to contact them, rather than giving out my details) A sore point for a mum of a 1 year old and 2 year old, but I've got nappies coming out of my ears and have tried so hard to find the right fit, comfort and breatheability (I've invented a new word) that I just might sit my sons on the toilet all day long... feeding them their favourite foods, just to get this over with.

- 02/07/00 I couldn't agree more, my son is 3 and 5 months, and was about three before he was completely potty trained. He still wears nappies at night time. Even the trainer pants are no good so thank god for those pampers. I agree with you that they are hard to get, they are the reason for my trips to Asda :-) |
