Disadvantages: seal not great.
Early Days Baby Wipes by Primark.
My youngest son is two, and we now seem to use more wipes than when he was small. Sticky hands and messy faces seem to be my son's trademark. Making a supposedly quick trip to town the other week I stumbled across a two pack of baby wipes in Primark for £1.00, which is cheaper than Tesco value and Asda smart price, and having only a few left in the pack I had bought with me and knowing that I was going to have to get the boys some lunch out, decided that I had nothing to lose.
The packet is made of the usual plastic and is primarily white with pictures of purple bears on and purple writing. It's quite a pretty packet compared to other cheap brands on the market. The seal isn't the best, it is a simple reseal sticky label which loses its stick after a while but isn't a huge issue. You are able to get the wipes out easily even one handed without pulling out the entire contents, which happens so many times with other brands which is frustrating if you are changing a nappy. You get 64 wipes in each pack which I think is fantastic value.
The wipes are fragrance free, alcohol free, paraben free and dermatologically tested making it perfect for either baby or even as a perfect make up remover. It is enriched with aloe vera and vitamin E which also helps to enhance cleansing and protect skin. Although the wipes claim to be fragrance free they do have a slight aroma which isn't unpleasant. I like putting wipes in the fridge in the summer as a way of keeping the kids cool and refreshed and these are going to be perfect for that, if summer ever gets here.
These wipes do the job admirably they are not too wet and caused no irritation at all. I will definitely be repurchasing these.
The ingredients are aqua, glycerine, citric acid, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, chamomilla, recutita flower extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tocopheryl acetate and is produced for Primark PO Box 644, DUBLIN 1
Summary: A cheap wipe that helps to keep my boy clean.
