Advantages: Cheap, clean bathtime fun
Disadvantages: none, really
Ababababab! gu fufu baba-mumumum. Awah-du babab, mumum bab dadoo! Eeeeeeeeeh! Mababu gaga fooba! (Squeal) bababa mimimooboo (splash) dadaf! Aaaaahwoobu (giggle) ahboooo! Translation: Bathtime! Put my rubber duck in. He's my best friend, I love him, I do! Eeeeeeeeeeh! (no translation available). He tastes lovely! (squeal) Watch him swim (splash) and fall over! Aaaaaah, bless (giggle) he sunk! (No, really, this is exactly what she said!) The old perennial favourite, the rubber duck, reigns supreme in our house. After seeing many expensive, modern versions of this toy, I found a set, EXACTLY like the ones I had as a child, in my local chemist's for just one pound! A quid! You wouldn't believe the fun it has given to us all at bathtime (although we mainly get our enjoyment from watching Leah with it, it has been known for the ducks to find their way into our own bathtimes!) Leah has always been a water baby, but these simple little toys have given her so much pleasure. They come with us to Grandma's, we even take them swimming to the local pool each week, and other children watch enviously as Leah chews them throughout her class! Never before have I spent £1 so wisely! Buy some - you'll not regret it!
