Advantages: fun for tots

Disadvantages: none

I can not remember which shop I bought this safety first tugs boats from. I can not remember the price either. I bought these tug boats last year as a bath time toy for the grandchildren when they stay over.

On EBay someone (not me) is selling a brand new set of these boats for £1.30-p. I think I bought my boats from a local chemist that sells a few extras.I believe this toy when new cost me somewhere between 3 and 5 pounds.

This bath time toy consists of 3 tug boats which fit inside each other. They are simple boats with a deck around a mid raised are funnel maybe. There is a hole at the stern of the boat so that a string can be attached. There is a hole to attach a string in the bow of the boat too so all three could be linked together.
There are no sharp edges to these boats they are all smooth.

These boats are made of plastic they are brightly coloured one boat red, one yellow and one blue. These boats should last a long time nothing to go wrong with them.

My grandchildren enjoy playing with these boats unaware that nana is giving them a science lesson while they are bathing floating sinking, water displacement. They are also learning colour and size these boats fit inside each other if they are put the right way round.
These boats are super for the bath making a pretend world where are the grandchildren sailing tonight? Is it on the local reservoir or on the sea? I think its just in nannas bath. These toys would also be good in the paddling pool in the summer or in the water tray at nursery class.

Summary: three tug boats for the bath

My son has loved his since he was about 6 months old.At 4 he still plays with them in the bath.I think ours were about £1.50 from a small baby goods shop.
