Advantages: Sturdy, great suction pads, swivel action,
Disadvantages: Seat base can be very slippy
I have to say that i havent tried any other bath seat as i was instantly satisfied with these when i bought them.
I purchased two of these bath seats for £7.99 at my local Tescos. Bathing twins was getting to be a chore and very difficult so i was on the hunt for something that would make life easier. I was attracted to these not only because of the price but also because it came ready made, all i had to do was clip the toys on the front. This made me feel like this product was sturdy and safe, i wouldnt have felt comfortable piecing togethor something which has to be strong enough to hold a baby in the bath.
Anyway this is a very sturdy seat with four suction caps on the bottom. I have never had a problem with any of the suction caps so far and one of my twins has definitly put that to the test as he does not sit still for a minute and tries to bounce in everything! I am always confident that he is safe in this seat!!.
The seat also has a swivel action which i think is great now they are playing with toys in the bath. This means they can reach and turn for their rubber duckies without the worry of them toppling over. The seats also have a few spinny toys on the front which is great but i wouldnt rely on these to entertain your children for the whole of bath time!!
All in all this product has made bathing twins a hell of a lot easier. They have been in them since they could sit themselves upright and hold their heads well...and i have no doubt i will continue to use them for a long while yet. The only disdvantage i would say is that the seat becomes very slippy (obviously because its in water) and if the babies become too excited they tend to slide around a bit. To overcome this i just place a face cloth in onto the seat before i put the babies in therefore making it less slippy on their little bums.
Summary: Dread to think how i would bath twins without them

- 22/10/08 Completely agree! We used these with our twins too (although I paid more than that for them :-( But on the plus side I did sell them for more than a fiver each on Ebay when they had outgrown them) Good review, Caroline xx |
