Advantages: your baby can sit safely in the bath, you are left with both hands free to bath your baby

Disadvantages: quite restricting, can catch babies legs when lifting in and out,slightly slippery

I bought this chair for my son when he was six months old as he was slipping and sliding all over the bath at bath times. He had just starting sitting up unaided but was nowhere near steady enough to sit up in the bath by himself. I purchased this from Asda and paid £9.99 for it, although prices do vary depending on where you purchase it from. The seat comes ready assembled apart from the play bar and rings. This seat is a brightly coloured plastic seat suitable for babies between the age of 6 - 12 months, although this depends on the size of the baby. It attatches to the bath with four big suction cups, this makes sure that the seat does not move at all and it is very easy to remove from the bath using the release tabs. There are three coloured rings attatched to the front of the seat for baby to play with. The seat swivels round 360%. There are a few downsides to this product. The actual seat was quite slippery but there isn't a lot of room for them to slip around too much. Getting your baby in and out can be a little tricky as i found my sons legs always caught on the bar as i lifted him in and out and he usually ended up with red marks on the tops of his legs. The last problem i found was that my son had problems leaning over the bar to reach the water and his toys, he found it a little restricting.

Summary: it is very useful to keep your baby safe but it does have a few imperfections
