Not impressed! (Safety 1st Swivel Baby Seat)
Member Name: liverpoolnoonoo
Advantages: Nice idea Disadvantages: Suction pads don't work My 7 month old son has, in the last 2 weeks, been able to sit unaided for quite a long time and consequently is no longer happy to lie down on his foam bath support as he would much prefer to sit up in the bath. Unfortunately, leaning over the bath to support him causes me back pain but thankfully I remembered that a friend had told me about a bath seat that existed. Having bought said bath seat earlier this week I am thoroughly disappointed. The suction caps do not stick to the bath at all. I cleaned the bath thoroughly to ensure there was no soap residue as per the instructions, I tried the seat both dry and with dampened suction pads and still no joy. In hindsight I should have read other reviews, some of which also appear to report this as a problem along with scratched legs etc. Sadly it looks as though I will have to suffer the back pain until a superior product is available. Summary: Disappointing |
