Safety First Swivel Seat

One of the first things we bought even before our first little one was big enough to go in the big bath was this safety first bath seat. Our little one loved baths and when it was time to move into the big bath we wanted to make sure they were as safe as houses.

The bath seat ranges from between £8 to £12 though we managed to get hold of this for £5 which was a great price.

The seat is blue in colour with three detachable rings on the front which are perfect for young babies to nibble on in teething and also keep them occupied in the bath. The three suction pads on the bottom hold the seat securely to the bottom of the bath though when baby gets bigger and stronger they do tend to give a little and you will find part of the seat start to move around the bath. These also start to give over time though this is probably the same with all types of this bath seat.

We put our little one in this seat around the age of 5/6 months and at first it seemed huge though did offer good support with plenty of room to enable washing baby easily. It is of a hard plastic so could be a little uncomfortable for baby though our little one did not seem to mind until they got a lot bigger and were able to sit safely outside the seat.

This seat is well recommended especially at a lower price. It is true to say that these seats are all practically the same with a few different features though from experience with this particular one I would say that it is a must for babys first experience in the big bath.
