Good value wipe does the job! (Sainsbury's Baby Wipes)

Advantages: Cheap, strong, wet, easy to use

I have been a consistent user of Johnson's baby wipes since they came out - they are good as removing a really grim nappy's content and my children don't have particularly sensitive skin or anything.

But they are overpriced in my view so I only buy them on special offer and one day recently I was in Sainsbury's and their own brand baby wipes were BOGOF and the Johnson's ones were not on offer. Looking at the price difference (and I needed to buy some - often I can wait for the next Johnson's offer but I didn't have any in the cupboard on this occasion) I thought I might as well give these Sainsbury's ones a go as they were half he price per wipe AND on BOGOF so that made then 25% of the price.

So, decision made, I get them home. They have the same type of slightly annoying packet as Johnson's in that they come in plastic packets with a peelable plastic sticky label over the hole you pull the baby wipes through. It is quite good though in that it has a click-lock plastic lid thingy which means the wipes dry out much more slowly if you don't use them in week or so (as I find the case with the pack of wipes I keep in the changing bag in the car).

The wipes come out individually but the next wipe does not pop up ready so you have to get a couple out before you start if the nappy is a bit grim, as it can be fiddly to get the next wipe and you don't always have the 10 seconds it can take to get the next one before baby with sticky bottom is off over the room (of he joys of a crawling baby!!).

Each wipe is quite thick (good) not too small (also good) and quite wet (brilliant in my view) so two wipes are sufficient for the average nappy.

In short, these are brilliant value for money, often on BOGOF, when I stock up, but even if they are full price hey are often cheaper per wipe than another brand on an offer so they really are great value for money in my book. I've switched to them as my preferred brand.
