Advantages: Great packing, good strong wipes

Disadvantages: bottom few can be very wet indeed!

Well i have used many brands of baby wipes. I have a 4 year old autistic child who wears nappy's yet to wipes now have to deal with serious stuff, not that nice and easy to wipe away stuff that she made as a baby or upto the age of 2 or so!


I find that i now buy sainsburys own brand of wipes. They come in a plastic box/bag like most of the branded versions, complete with a clip shut lid to stop the wipes drying out, which is a problem with a lot of the cheaper own brands as well as the pampers refill ones, which are designed to go into a plastic box to keep them damp.

The wipes themselves are strong around the same size as a branded wipe, and the top 90% of the box is just the right dampness. The bottom 10% of the pack gets much more of the moisture, and the last few literally have to be wrung out before they are used.

Material used to make the wipes is quite strong, and doesn't ever tear or smear through. The fragrance isnt overwhelming or too weak either. Its balanced just right.

There is only one brand of wipes that i prefer to these, and that is kirkland (costco's own brand) but its harder to get them, and have to bulk buy.

Sainsburys own brand wipes are much lower cost than the leading brands, and quite often are on buy one get one free, which then makes them unbeatable value. Tend to buy 10 packs or so when they are on offer !

Summary: A very good baby wipe, at great price, and even better when on regular offer!
