Advantages: cheap, the same as branded versions

Disadvantages: hard to find a bottle that isn't leaking..

I love using all of Johnson's baby products including baby bath. I use it in the bath when I'm not using a Lush bubble bar as I love the smell and it leaves my skin soft as well. However, the price of Johnson's baby bath has gone up and while in Sainsbury's I was looking for a cheaper alternative. As well as my usual baby bath I picked a bottle of this which was on the bottom shelf. I managed to find one bottle that wasn't leaking. At 34p I thought I would try it and if I didn't like it, I would use it as hand wash or find some other use for it.

The bottle is basic which I can't complain about for the price. It's white with a sticker all around it with the usual sainsbury's basics orange writing. The bottle is made of plastic which is quite thin and therefore easy to squeeze.

The actual baby bath is a bright blue which is not much different to my usual and has quite a strong chemical scent which becomes the clean, fresh scent I adore when used in the bath. I pour a bit more than I usually would under running water (it's only 34p!) and even though I live in a hard water area and find it hard to make enough bubbles in the bath, this foamed up nicely. The bubbles and scent remained for the whole bath and, made the water soft and my skin feel clean.

I don't have sensitive skin and I can't comment on it being gentle enough for babies skin, but as this is so cheap, I was expecting it to irritate a little, but I have experienced nothing.
I honestly can't see myself going back to more expensive versions, this does the job and saves those all important pennies.
