I have tried Pampers, Huggies, Boots and Tescos nappies, so I felt it only right to give the Sainsbury's ones a try too, particularly as this tends to be the supermarket that I usually use. I was confident that these nappies might be good, as I was already fairly impressed with the Tesco and Boots own brands of nappies. I was not disappointed. The size and make I tried were 'Sainsbury's Little Ones Size 2' nappies, costing just under £4.00 for a pack of 45. I found these nappies to be soft and extremely absorbant. They fit my baby well and are well elastiacted around the legs to prevent any leakages. They fasten well and my ... Read the complete review

My latest trial product from the Sainsbury's Little Ones baby range is their nappies, I always keep a packet of nappies in the bathroom for when my granddaughter visits and although I have recently been rather disappointed with both Tesco and Morrisons nappies I have found this Sainsbury's brand to be absolutely excellent. You can buy Dry nappies and also Explore ones, I went for the Dry variety as my granddaughter drinks rather a lot during the day and also takes a bottle of milk to bed with her so I wanted a nappy which would keep her dry and comfortable through the night. The Explore range is like the Pampers Active Fit in that they have higher leg holes ... Read the complete review

Having twin boys obviously both in nappies I am always looking for ways to save money yet at the same time find something reliable too. Pampers were my first choice when they were born but after just a few weeks I was left with nappies falling apart and the crystals inside falling everywhere, they were only weeks old at the time and I was disgusted especially as Pampers are some of the most expensive nappies you can buy. For the past 10months or more I have been using both Boots and Sainsburys nappies being quite impressed with both - they have done exactly what I needed and wanted them to do at a fraction of the price. As the nappies increase in ... Read the complete review

I've learnt through the credit crunch to try not to be a brand snob. If I don't try something new I won't ever know if I'm going to like it, regardless of the cheaper price tag attached to it. Since having my daughter, I've been a firm believer that Pampers nappies are the best. Huggies will do just fine when they are on offer, but I won't tend to buy supermarket or cheaper brands unless I have a very good reason to, or unless someone proves to me they are great. A recent offer on Sainsbury's baby range showed me that a pack of their own brand nappies would only cost £2.90 for 30 nappies instead of £4 for a pack of the same amount of Pampers. Without the ... Nappies are a true mind-field to me. I'm not a parent but I do occasionally get roped into looking after my friends children, and as a childless spinster I adore it but feel relieved to hand the kids back after 8 hours I can tell you that much! lol. Of course when I babysit I do all the usual duties and nappy changing is one of them things I absolutely hate. I'm not sure if as a parent you becomes immune to nappy contents but as a none parent it's something that makes me gag and I really hate it! My friend, at the moment is on an economy drive. As a single parent with two children and working she gets little help financially and struggles big time to make ends ... Read the complete review
