Since my daughter was born 21 months ago, I have tried most of the available disposable nappies, from the well known brands, such as Huggies and Pampers, eco friendly ones (Nature Baby) and own brands from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Boots. Most recently, I have been using the Sainsbury's Little Ones Dry Nappies, and have found them to be as good as any of the other brands.

The pack that I bought contains 58 nappies, and states that they are 'ultra absorbent, with a soft, compact contoured design for a snug, secure fit day and night'. They also have flexible stretchy sides. The nappies are white and pale green, with a leaf pattern that is a little reminiscent of Boots own brand nappies. There is also a duck motif along the top. The nappies feel quite thin and are not too bulky. The size that I bought was 4 plus (maxi plus) and are suitable for a child weighing 9-20kg or 20-44lb.

My daughter is very active, and has worn the nappies during the day and at night, with no leaks or nappy rash, so I am happy to buy them again, the next time I am shopping in Sainsbury's.

The nappies cost £6.97 per pack of 58 or £3.97 for a carry pack of 32. There is also an offer on at the moment for two of the larger packs for £13.00 or two of the smaller packs for £7.00. This works out a lot cheaper than branded nappies (Pampers and Huggies) and environmentally friendly disposables, eg. Nature Baby.
