Advantages: Good quality for affordable price
Disadvantages: I haven't found yet any (probably one: it is not recyclable)
As I have two little boys, we are big nappy consumers. We tried Pampers nappies as well but the elder one had nappy rash, so we changed immediately. I tried Sainsbury's Little Ones dry nappies and I am absolutely content with it.
I am lucky that my younger son is such a big baby that I can buy the same size for both of them (there is 19 month difference between them). Now we use the 4+ size.
¤¤¤Packing¤¤¤
There are 4 types of Sainsbury's nappies. The eco is one of them - we haven't tried it yet. The other is the explore category wrapped in purple wrapper. It is okay. In red wrapper you find the pull-ons. And finally our favourites have a turquoise wrapper. According to my experience in the market of nappies as the size of the nappies grows the number of nappies in the pack diminishes. It has a practical wrapper you can hold easily, you don't need an extra bag, because the wrapper has its own handle. The wrapper is recyclable.
¤¤¤Sizes¤¤¤
There are 7 different sizes:
0 premature up to 3 kg/6 lb
1 newborn 2-5 kg/4-11 lb
2 mini 3-6 kg/6-13 lb
3 midi 4-9 kg/9-20 lb
4 maxi 7-18 kg/15-40 lb
4+ maxi+ 9-20kg/20-44 lb
5 junior 11-25 kg/24-55 lb
6 extra large 16 kg+/35 lb+
You should change nappy size when leakage accidents become regular. Take care that ruffles at the baby's legs to be turned out, not turned under the nappy.
¤¤¤Protection¤¤¤
The absorbent core locks the liquid and keeps it away from the baby's skin.
The elasticated leg cuffs and the riffle provide protection against leakage accidents.
The flexible and resealable sides stretch so it moves according the baby's tummy.
¤¤¤Fun¤¤¤
There are farmyard animals in front of the nappies and leafs all over the 4+ size. You can tell your baby a short story while you change the nappy. I give him usually one while I change for another one.
¤¤¤Price¤¤¤
The different sizes have the same prices but as I mentioned before less nappies as the size grows.
3 midi 6.95 pounds/70 nappies
4 maxi 6.95 pounds/62 nappies
4+ maxi+ 6.95 pounds/58 nappies
5 junior 6.95 pounds/54 nappies
¤¤¤Sum up¤¤¤
We tried the Little ones dry and the explore nappies (there is not much difference between them) and I found them really good, there are 1-2 accidents per months, so I don't complain. Don't forget the ruffles, turn them out!!! That's all, I recommend it.
Summary: I recomend it, you can trust it
