Once my little boy turned 1 i felt it was safe to try him with supermarket home brand nappies (i would like to make it clear it is not unsafe at any age im just funny with things like that goodness knows why ?!? ) i had previously tried boots nappies as i felt they were more trust worthy for my child being a pharmaceutical company also. When i ...  Read the complete review

As I have two little boys, we are big nappy consumers. We tried Pampers nappies as well but the elder one had nappy rash, so we changed immediately. I tried Sainsbury's Little Ones dry nappies and I am absolutely content with it. I am lucky that my younger son is such a big baby that I can buy the same size for both of them (there is 19 month ...  Read the complete review

My latest trial product from the Sainsbury's Little Ones baby range is their nappies, I always keep a packet of nappies in the bathroom for when my granddaughter visits and although I have recently been rather disappointed with both Tesco and Morrisons nappies I have found this Sainsbury's brand to be absolutely excellent. You can buy ...  Read the complete review

Having twin boys obviously both in nappies I am always looking for ways to save money yet at the same time find something reliable too. Pampers were my first choice when they were born but after just a few weeks I was left with nappies falling apart and the crystals inside falling everywhere, they were only weeks old at the time and I was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsburys Nappies: The budget bum (609 words)
by - written on 29/05/09 (Very useful, 127 readings)

I've learnt through the credit crunch to try not to be a brand snob. If I don't try something new I won't ever know if I'm going to like it, regardless of the cheaper price tag attached to it. Since having my daughter, I've been a firm believer that Pampers nappies are the best. Huggies will do just fine when they are on offer, but I won't ...  Read the complete review

When my daughter was born i hadn't even considered that there were other brands of nappies available other then Huggies and Pampers - these are the ones that you are shown all over the place in adverts even before considering to have a child!! So when i got my free samples of the better known nappies when pregnant i thought i would ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsburys Nappies: A must buy for Junior! (732 words)

Nappies are a true mind-field to me. I'm not a parent but I do occasionally get roped into looking after my friends children, and as a childless spinster I adore it but feel relieved to hand the kids back after 8 hours I can tell you that much! lol. Of course when I babysit I do all the usual duties and nappy changing is one of them things I ...  Read the complete review

Having had my first child who was allergic to all nappies except Tescos I was dubious about using any others. However the Sainsburys third off all baby products including nappies offer was to good to ignore so I decided to give them a go! I started with the Little Ones New Size1 Newborn 2-5kg (4-11lb) which has 24 in a pack. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsburys Nappies: As good as pampers for us (437 words)
by - written on 22/11/08 (Very useful, 115 readings)

With everything that has been going on with the credit crunch etc and me only working part time at the moment, I thought I would dry 'downsizing' on my daughter's nappy. (Martin from money saving expert explains more on this). We usually use Pampers and she is on size 3 at the moment, so it costs us £5.97 for approx 32 nappies depending on offers ...  Read the complete review

I first used sainsburys nappies nearly 7 years ago when my son was small I used all the normal major brands but came across one of sainsburys 1/3 off baby products so I stocked up, and I must say I was very impressed no nappy rash no leaks and really cute design of e yellow ducks all over the nappy, so when my daughter was born I went down and ...  Read the complete review

I had three children under four years old and so have used a fair amount of nappies. I have tried all the leading brands, other supermarket own brands and even terry nappies. I recently tried the sainsbury own brand after having tried another supermarkets own brand and being very pleased with it. The sainsbury nappy seemed bigger ...  Read the complete review

Since my daughter was born 21 months ago, I have tried most of the available disposable nappies, from the well known brands, such as Huggies and Pampers, eco friendly ones (Nature Baby) and own brands from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Boots. Most recently, I have been using the Sainsbury's Little Ones Dry Nappies, and have found them to be as good ...  Read the complete review

I have tried quite a few brand of nappies for my daughter, Huggies, pampers the main brand ones then quite a few supermarket brands also. I think you have to shop around until you find the decent ones. Premium Review Sainsburys Nappies: Good value brand of nappies (402 words)
by - written on 31/07/07 (Useful, 211 readings)

I have tried Pampers, Huggies, Boots and Tescos nappies, so I felt it only right to give the Sainsbury's ones a try too, particularly as this tends to be the supermarket that I usually use. I was confident that these nappies might be good, as I was already fairly impressed with the Tesco and Boots own brands of nappies. I was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsburys Nappies: Sainsbury's Performers (414 words)
by - written on 09/07/01 (Very useful, 148 readings)
Rating:

As older parents, we are definitely cautious to the point of paranoia when it comes to purchases for our 31 month (30-35lb) daughter. And proud of it too! after all it's pretty obvious to us that, despite near £Billion profits, the supermarkets are no guardians of our (or your) family's wellbeing. So onward. Our little 'un was ...  Read the complete review

I started using Sainsbury's own brand of nappy over the last two weeks, following 3 faulty 'Huggies' nappies in the space of a year. Premium Review Sainsburys Nappies: New and Improved! (154 words)

I have to confess that I only tried these nappies because I had a £1 off voucher, but I was really amazed with the quality. My daughter is normally a Huggies girl - she has sensitive skin and previously other brands have brought her out in a rash - but not these new Performers, which are hypoallergenic, so shouldn't cause skin ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review CHEAPER BUT NOT VERY NICE!! (137 words)

I did try Sainsburys'own brand nappies when I first had my daughter. Thankfully I only bought a sample pack!! When I first took one from the packet I immediately noticed how much thicker they were compared to the more expensive ones. They do not fasten very well and once they are on they look really bulky and uncomfortable. ...  Read the complete review
