There are two things that I dislike about the Sam I am. One is that it does not have fold back tabs for the Velcro. Instead it has pockets to fold the tabs into themselves (difficult to explain) - this means if the nappy is soaked, you have to very much handle it which is unpleasant. Secondly, there are only two small velcro strips on either side instead of one long thick ...more

Sam I Am are one of the many reusable cloth nappies available as an alternative to disposables. Sam I Am nappies are made from 100% cotton flannelette with an inner pad of rayon and polyester which helps absorption. You adjust the nappies with Velcro strips at the front. The Sam-I-am nappy is made from a brushed cotton fabric, and has a panel in the sentre that is padded for extra absorbancy. It also comes with it's own shaped booster that you can use if needed. It is a hsaped nappy, designed like a disposable, fastening with velcro and requires a waterproof wrap to keep wetnees from baby's clothes. they works very well. My son is a heavy wetter and can only use one for about 2 hours then he needs changing but an average wetting baby (like most are) would go 3 hours. Babies should be changed every 3 hours at max anyway, except at night, so this isn't a problem. The sam-i-am is nicely shaped and soft and comft and ...  Read the complete review
