Sam I Am are one of the many reusable cloth nappies available as an alternative to disposables. Sam I Am nappies are made from 100% cotton flannelette with an inner pad of rayon and polyester which helps absorption. You adjust the nappies with Velcro strips at the front. Sam I Am nappies come in three sizes to suit your baby in various patterns and white. These nappies must be used with a wrap. I find that the Sam I Am needs more frequent changing compared to my favourite nappy, Tots Bots. I do not use the Sam I Am as a night time nappy even if it was boosted. Sam I AM nappies are a cloth nappy that needs an waterproof outer shell to go with it. When expecting my second child I really was eager to use reusables due to environmental factors, money and the best choice for my baby. Sam I ams were recomended by a friend as they were not too bulky and came in two sizes plus they were one of the cheapest systems on the market that we knew about. I found them to be great up until my child got to around 5 months which I then had to use boosters just so they would last more than One wee. The Sam-I-am nappy is made from a brushed cotton fabric, and has a panel in the sentre that is padded for extra absorbancy. It also comes with it's own shaped booster that you can use if needed. It is a hsaped nappy, designed like a disposable, fastening with velcro and requires a waterproof wrap to keep wetnees from baby's clothes. they works very well. My son is a heavy wetter and can only use one for about 2 hours then he needs changing but an average wetting baby (like most are) would go 3 hours.
