This is a nice baby bath product and I would recommend it.
I paid £1 for this which is a bargain for such a good quality product. It is a good size bottle and lasts ages. You don't need to use a lot in order to create a nice bubbly bath as a little bit of it makes lots of bubbles.
It comes out as more of a gel than a bubble bath so you do need to swirl it when you have poured some into the bath but when you do it creates plenty of bubbles. It has a lovely fresh baby smell which is not overpowering but does smell nice and clean and uplifting and helps him to keep his baby smell. I think it is a nice bath product for baby or adults.
The bubbles it creates are lovely and last ages even after I have used shampoo on my son and he loves playing with the bubbles.
I like the fact that it is a moisturising bath product as it does leave my baby's skin feel soft and smooth. It is nice and gentle for his skin and because it is a Simple product I trust that it has no harsh chemicals in it. My son's skin has always been quite dry but after using this in his bath his skin is never dry and feels moisturised.
I bought Simple Baby Moisturing Bath for my son, when he developed a few small patches of eczema at 9 months of age. I was attracted to this product because it does not contain any colours or fragrances. I have used Simple facial products myself when my skin has been sensitive, so I was fairly confident in the baby products and have not been disappointed.
The Moisturising Bath comes in a 250 ml bottle which currently costs £2.29 in Boots. However, I have been able to buy it in the 99p Store, which makes it a real bargain. I find that a bottle tends to last a couple of months.
The product comes in a flip lid bottle. The cap is on the base of the bottle, which helps in getting the last of the liquid out easily. The lid closes securely, which prevents my son from squeezing the contents out too easily when I'm not looking. I am also confident that the bottle will stay securely shut when we are travelling.
The Moisturising Bath liquid is white, quite creamy and it mixes easily with the water. However, it does not produce as many bubbles as I would expect from a bath product of this kind. As a result, I tend to use quite a big squirt of the liquid to generate enough bubbles in the bath. It would be better if the liquid was more concentrated.
Most importantly, Simple Baby Moisturising Bath is kind on my son's eczema. He has had no adverse reactions at all since we have been using it. I am also pleased that it does not seem to dry his skin out, which is sometimes a problem with soap based products.
Simple Baby Moisturising Bath is provided in a white plastic bottle with an opaque flip top lid and it has a simple yet effective design to make it easy to pick up and open with wet hands. The bottle has a piece of plastic in the lid that means you have to give it a good squeeze to dispense any liquid, this is great if I've forgotten to put the lid back down fully as it won't leak all over the bathroom.
Simple products are fragrance and colour free so this does not have much of a scent just a soapy type scent to it that's lovely, clean & fresh smelling. The liquid within is fairly thick and clear.
I don't have any children so this is really just used on myself and I picked it up for a friend as part of a baby hamper I was making but for some reason I never got around to giving it to her!
The liquid is simple to use just pour a little under hot running water or in to the bath and swirl it around. It creates a few bubbles and does give the bath a nice scent that's not too overpowering. When I get in to the bath it makes my skin feel lovely and smooth and when I used it in conjunction with the all-in-one wash I got out of the bath feeling like my skin was lovely & soft. I did not feel the need to moisturise after either which was great because I have pretty sensitive skin.
A 250ml bottle is available from Boots stores or www.boots.co.uk for £1.95.
Overall I think that this is a very good bath product to use if you have sensitive skin or want to give your little one smooth skin or even just a few little bubbles to look at in the bath. I am therefore rating this 4/5.
No tears baby bath.
