I dont myself have a baby, however I do look after my neice and thats when I first came across simple wipes. I used them for many things, wiping noses, cleaning food of face, hands, and cleaning the high chair after feeding time. Every single time they got it clean, they removed all the muck and the mess. Normally this would concern me, that if they stripped off too much they would strip vital ingredients out of the skin. When I cahnged the nappy and wiped clean and when I wiped the face it didnt appear that this was the case as they still left the skin clean and soft bu without looking red raw and dry. I was so impressed with how well they worked, yet maintaining healthy skin that I bought some for myself. I keep them in my handbga to freshen up, either when staying at somebodies house, or after a day at work or taking the make up off. They work well and still preserve fragile skin.

Summary: These do the job and keep your skin in excellent condition.
