      A great compact, flexible bath

When my wife and I were getting ready for the arrival of our baby we were hunting around for a baby bath. This search was proving even more difficult as we don't have a bath ourselves, only a shower room. The other problem is space. With all the mountains of stuff that a tiny person seems to need the last thing we wanted was a big plastic bath taking up precious storage space. My wife came across this product so we decided to give it a try. The bath measures W39cm x L66cm X H24cm when unfolded and ready to fill. Folded it measures W10cm x L63cm X H24cm. There is also a tag at the top which stops the bath from springing open again. The bath is made from a very durable and hardware man made material, which I believe to be a type of plastic. The joins are all reinforced to allow for the additional ware and tear of the folding and unfolding. The manufacturer does suggest that you don't use any oil based products as these may damage the plastic material. Water and Child friendly soaps and shampoo's are the recommendation. I have avoided the oil base products and the bath is still looking as good as new. The bath is apparently designed for a child aged birth to 4 years old. I would say that getting a 4 year old in this bath is a little ambitious. We do have a 2 year old nephew who has used this bath I would be surprised if he could still fit into it come his 3rd birthday. The bath comes in a variety of colours such as White, Clear, Orange and Blue. A colour to suit all genders and parental preferences I'm sure. There is also a support that you can purchase separately which is designed for new born's which clicks easily onto the flexi bath. There is a plug in the bottom of the bath which makes emptying the water straight forward. I have found that the bath never gets too heavy as the bath is never brimming with water. A concern of mine before I purchased the bath was once full of water the bath would become very heavy to lift in order to empty over the sink. My wife also finds it easy enough to lift and empty. My wife's family live in Northern Ireland so when visiting we have been able to take the bath with us in the car as it folds up nice and small taking up very little space. You could even pack it in a suitcase if you were heading somewhere by plane or train. These baths retail for around £35 which I believe to be good value for money. With living in a city centre flat, space is at a premium, so any solutions that can help you save space is a complete god send. The flexi bath is one of these great products which is robust, compact and easily stored, taking up very little space. For anyone looking for a space saver or something which is portable then I could highly recommend this bath.
