... out it's a baby talc kind of smell - sorry that's not very specific I know! I'm annoyed that I didn't originally 'stock up' on these at first instead of being a name snob because quite frankly they are far superior (in my opinion) than any of the name brands. Premium Review Superdrug Baby Wipes: Snuggle up (542 words)

When I was pregnant with my first child six years ago I started stocking up on all the 'baby essentials' I would need like nappies, baby wipes etc. Being my first child and working full time I still had 'money to burn' (or so it seems looking back now!) and I bought only the top brands - only the best for my little bambino! Not long after he was born and I had gone through several packs of baby wipes, I sent hubby up to our local Superdrug with instructions to stock up on more nappies and wipes. When he came back with the bag and I looked inside I was a little dismayed to find he had bought a shops own brand of wipes. How dare he?! ...  Read the complete review

I have to say I have tried most baby wipes on my son but out of pure snobbery I would not buy Superdrug's own as I really don't like the shop. However, I go to the tanning shop most days and they helpfully provide baby wipes which you can use to remove your makeup before going on the sunbed, and it just so happens that the wipes they provide are Superdrug Snuggles. As I have used them almost every day for months I think I'm certainly qualified to review them, despite the fact that I have not actually bought a pack for myself. I have scoured the Superdrug website for a price but they apparently don't sell baby wipes on there...just typical of Superdrug to be ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superdrug Baby Wipes: My life is being taken over by bottoms! (558 words)

That's the thing with new babies - bums, poo and the looking after thereof suddenly take over your life. It helps to have the best and most useful kit. Baby wipes are really handy for getting bottoms clean, and superdrug offer a range of products. I have used three, its posisble there's a forth but I don't remember it. They come in packs of 80 and are a good deal cheaper than named brand options. I'll go through the features.... In an ideal world you can get them out of the packet. Scented ordinary superdrug wipes - come out in clumps. Unscented ordinary superdrug wipes also come out in clumps. Very soft (cotton soft I believe) ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superdrug fragrance free baby wipes - you get what you pay f ... (189 words)

A baby wipe's a baby wipe or so I thought. After using up all the free Pampers & Johnsons ones which came with new mum packs and special offers etc I decided to try cheaper versions. I bought 100 superdrug fragrance free baby wipes which are packaged in a tube. Compared to some of the other brands they are quite nasty! They are very thin, a bit too sodden and they are NOT completely fragrance free, although it is not an overpowering smell. It is impossible to take them out of the packet with just one hand as they do not tear apart from each other very easily - mind you I find that with them all. They are too small to do much at nappy change time ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superdrug Baby Wipes: Far too WET wipes (393 words)

I bought Superdrug's own brand of baby wipes because they were on special offer one week. As we all know, baby wipes are horrendously expensive, but they come into the category of items so useful, the cost outweighs the alternative (as any new mum will know, cotton wool balls and lukewarm water are not the best for getting that horrid sticky poo from your little one's perfectly pert botty cheeks) so I went ahead and purchased 2 packs (it was buy one get one free - how can anyone resist an offer with the word 'free' in it?) I wish I hadn't. Although I will say that the snap-shut lid was really good (fantastic for keeping the wipes ...  Read the complete review
