Advantages: Mild fragrance, don't irritate my skin

Disadvantages: Too wet to use on baby's bum

I have to say I have tried most baby wipes on my son but out of pure snobbery I would not buy Superdrug's own as I really don't like the shop. However, I go to the tanning shop most days and they helpfully provide baby wipes which you can use to remove your makeup before going on the sunbed, and it just so happens that the wipes they provide are Superdrug Snuggles. As I have used them almost every day for months I think I'm certainly qualified to review them, despite the fact that I have not actually bought a pack for myself.

I have scoured the Superdrug website for a price but they apparently don't sell baby wipes on there...just typical of Superdrug to be awkward really, hence why I don't shop there! Anyway, that is why I have not included a price, but as an own-brand baby wipe they will be between £1 and £2, I'd put money on it.

The wipes themselves come in a pretty standard baby wipe packet which is primarily white. They have a hole in the middle which you pull a wipe out of.

The wipes themselves are a standard size and to be honest I have no problem with them. They remove makeup very quickly because they are very wet in comparison with other wipes. For this reason, I would not buy them for use on my son's bum as (sorry TMI) when he does a poo I have to clean his bottom with 3 or 4 wipes and with these it would just be far too wet and both his bottom and the changing mat would need to be dried afterwards which would be very impractical. It is swings and roundabouts though, because this excessive moisture does unquestionably make them very quick for makeup removal, so I wouldn't mind buying a pack to do that job.

They have a very mild and inoffensive smell which is great...anyone who has read my other reviews will know I absolutely hate Pampers wipes because of their horrible, strong chemical fragrance.

All in all, these wipes were a pleasant surprise. My skin was not irritated at all after use and they are effective even when removing thick eye makeup.

Summary: Great for mums, not so good for babies
