Superdrug Snuggles Wipes (Superdrug Baby Wipes)
Member Name: sambam000
Advantages: Inexpensive, great closure lid Disadvantages: Can quickly cause irritation I always buy the branded baby wipes - Pampers, Huggies, Johnson & Johnson, usually the sensitive, non-fragranced varieties. When I ran out one day and asked my husband to pick some up, he popped into Superdrug & bought 2 packs of their own brand (Snuggles) fragranced wipes since they were on a multibuy offer. I was very sceptical - to me the wipes failed on 2 counts before I'd even used them, being non premium brand & non sensitive. However the wipes aren't actually too bad. The fragrance is not too strong, & the wipes are adequately wet without being too soggy. I wouldn't want to use them all the time though - there were slight areas of redness starting to appear on my baby's bottom. Instead I keep them in the travel changing bag so that they're used, but not all the time. The biggest plus point which beats Pampers and J&J is that they have a hard plastic closure flap on top, meaning the wipes stay fresh (another reason for keeping them in the changing bag). Overall, good value for money, but wouldn't recommend constant use...perhaps the non-fragranced variety would fare better.... Summary: A good buy for infrequent usage |
