Advantages: Lovely and soft

Disadvantages: None for me

In Jaydens wardrobe I have a large collection of different types of baby wipes which I collected before he was born, however despite this large stock pile I have the other day during a trip into town Jayden got hiccups (as he does on a daily basis) and was a bit sick, searching for a packet of baby wipes I discovered that I didn't have any with me at all so I nipped into my local Superdrug to buy some. As I had so many packets at home I wanted something cheap and that I could put in my bag so I went for Superdrugs Cotton Soft Baby Wipes, they came in different sized packets and were cheap to buy.

The Packaging
The Superdrug Cotton Soft baby Wipes come in a rectangle shaped plastic packet, this is quite a bright pink colour, not ideal for a boy but I didn't really have time to see if they came in other colours and picked up the first ones I found. There is a picture of a large white duck shape on the front of the packet, written inside this is the name of the product, the words "Dermatologically Tested", the amount of wipes in the packet and the Superdrug logo (the outline of a small star) The packaging on the front is quite plain and simple, there is a clear peelable strip in the centre of the packet which provides you with an opening to remove the wipes through. The back of the packet contains all of the product information written in white writing on the pink background, this consists of a statement about the product, directions for use, care and safety advise and the ingredients, these are clearly set out and easy to read.

The Wipes
Superdrug Cotton Soft Baby Wipes are plain white rectangle wipes, they are lightly fragranced and dermatologically tested. The wipes are said to be specially formulated with baby lotion and are ideal for using when nappy changing and are also useful for hands and faces during feeding time. The wipes are also suitable for the whole family to use in order to freshen up. The wipes are made using cotton type material and are extremely soft to touch making them gentle on your baby's skin, when you remove one from the packet there is a decent amount of moisture on them without them being too wet, on the other hand they are not too dry. The Superdrug Baby Wipes have quite a light fragrance to them and you can definitely detect the smell of baby lotion, the fragrance reminds me of a cross between baby lotion and baby powder, I did particularly like the fragrance of these as they left Jaydens skin smelling and feeling clean and fresh, the fragrance certainly wasn't over powering at all. It also states on the back of the packet that these wipes are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and also have not been tested on animals.

Directions for Use
When I read the directions on the back of the packet it didn't tell you actually how to use the wipes, but instead said to carefully reseal the pack after use to stop the wipes from drying out. It also says that after you have used one of the wipes you should dispose of it with the household waste and not flush down the toilet.

Care and Safety Advise
Again this is another section that appears on the back of the packet, I thought this was going to talk about allergy advise, however it just states that you should keep this product out of reach of babies and children.

Price & Availability
Obviously the Cotton Soft Baby Wipes are only available in Sueprdrug as they are an own brand product, what drew me to this particular variety was the price, the packet of 24 wipes cost be under 50p which was good value for money. I only purchased these in an emergency so I didn't want to spend a lot of money, after using the wipes I discovered that they were of a good quality despite being so cheap so I was pleased I went for this particular brand.

My Opinion
Since purchasing the packet of Superdrug Cotton Soft Baby Wipes I have finished the pack as I only got a small one containing 24 wipes, however I was very pleased with them. I really liked the fragrance of these, it was a fresh smell which leaves your baby's skin smelling clean and fresh. I used these wipes both to clean Jaydens face and also when changing his nappy and found them to me gentle on his skin, the cotton softness of the wipes also help with this. The wipes were good value for money and very cheap to purchase, I opted for the small packet of these wipes, however you can purchase larger packs which would obviously be longer lasting than the ones I went for. I would certainly use these wipes again in the future, once my stock pile has run down I would have no problem buying and using these at all, I do find that I go through so many wipes so it is handy to find some reasonably priced ones which are also of a good quality. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Summary: A nice soft baby wipe at a good price
