I use Terry Nappies with my daughter - i wasn't going to but i noticed that my local council had an incentive where they would give you over half of the money back if you get some so i thought i would give Terry's nappies a try as this is what my mum used with us. I was really happy with them, they were initially too big under her new born clothes but as soon as she started to be in 3-6 month clothes there seemed to be more room for the nappy which i think are slightly bigger then disposibles. I think that they are softer on her skin and they are obviously better for the environment.

You can get nappy nippas now too which stop the hastle of using a safety pin - which i had used and wa worried that i was going to hurt her. These are good value and good for the environment.
