Credit crunch is biting (Tesco Baby Oil)

Advantages: Cheaper than johnsons

As with this old credit crunch i have decided to give up my expensive johnsons baby oil in search for a cheaper alternative and decided to try tesco baby oil which cost £1.59. The bottle is plain a simple with a pink lid and a sticker on with pink writing a picture of a babys head. On the lable it is called:-

Suitable for Newborns
Locks in Moisture
Paediatrician Approved
Hypo-allergenic

I always use baby oil after i have had my shower to lock in the moisture, i have to say the smell is quite strong, definitely more prominent than johnsons, but it won't kill you. The oil went on smoothly and felt the same as johnsons but its oil i guess all oil feels the same. When the oil had dried i felt like it had done the job may have taken a little longer to sink into my skin perhaps i am being a bit pedantic. I found the only downfall with this oil was the hole at the top is a lot bigger so it tipped out a lot into my hand and when i put the bottle on the side some splashed out of the top. I am not sure if this is one of them shop ploys to make you use more to buy more. I am sure when i have used a quarter of the bottle i will have more control over how much comes out. I would buy this product again for myself but i would not use if on my son as i have always used Waitrose products on him.

Summary: Will buy again and does the job
